Staging the Abuja International Film Festival, AIFF, Nigeria’s Longest-running Film Festival – Fidelis Duker

The June edition of the monthly Film Forum of the Nollywood Studies Centre, School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, hosted Mr. Fidelis Duker, founder, Abuja International Film Festival (AIFF), who discussed ‘Film Festivals as a Viable Platform for Promoting Film Distribution: The Abuja Film Festival Experience’.

Duker; the current President of the African Festival Network (AFRIFESNET), a continental body for all festival organizers in Africa, and the Regional Secretary General of the Federation of Pan-African Film-makers (FEPACI); shared his experience, running Nigeria’s longest-running annual film festival, the AIFF, which commenced in 2004.
