WWE Star Chyna Died Of Drug Overdose – Late WWE wrestling star Chyna died from a drug overdose, her manager Anthony Anzaldo has revealed.
Chyna had been found dead at the age of 45 at her home in Redondo Beach, Carlifornia on the 20th of April. It had been reported that she had died of a possible drug overdose, and Anzaldo has now stated that it is “98%” accurate.
“She accidentally, over the course of two or three weeks, misused her legally prescribed medication,” Anzaldo is quoted as saying, as reported by BBC Newsbeat.
Anzaldo said the late wrestler was going through a lot emotionally, and though she wasn’t depressed, she was “self-medicating a little bit more than she should have.”
A cause of death has not yet been officially released for Chyna, whose real name was Joanie Laurer. A tweet from her personal account read after her death: “It is with deep sadness to inform you today that we lost a true icon, a real life superhero. Joanie Laurer, AKA Chyna, the 9th Wonder of the World has passed away. She will live forever in the memories of her millions of fans and all of us that loved her.”
