Emery Backs Lopetegui To Solve Madrid’s Problems

share on:

Arsenal manager, Unai Emery believes Real Madrid must find a balance in Ronaldo’s absence and believes Julen Lopetegui can do that for the club.

The all-time leading goalscorer at the club, Ronaldo left last season for Juventus, leaving Madrid with a huge void to fill.

Los Blancos have failed to score in their last four games, losing three of those, with a 1-0 loss to Alaves putting pressure on Lopetegui.

“Real Madrid must find balance without him and they need time to adapt,” former Sevilla boss Emery said. “However, I think Julen will find it.”

Emery added: “We cannot answer for Julen, but when it happens to me, I try to be patient, but it is difficult to ask for patience in football. I’m sure the goals will come for Lopetegui.”
