Pastor Adeboye Leads National Protest Against Insecurity In Nigeria

On Sunday afternoon, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye in the company of his church members to protest the killings and insecurity across the country.

Before leading his church’s members for the protest, Pastor Adeboye led his congregation on prayers for the peace and security of the country at his church’s monthly Thanksgiving Service.

He said;

“Lord, have mercy on Nigeria. Let there be peace and security in Nigeria. God sees all things and knows where the terrorists are hiding, we pray that God sends His light to Nigeria and expose the evildoers in the country.

“After the service, we are all going for a prayer walk. We’ll march according to age. There are some who would march around the church because of their age and there are some who would march with me to Atan Cemetery and back.”

The protest which was against the killing of Christians in the northern part of the country began at about 11am shortly after the church service at RCCG’s National Headquarters in Ebute Metta, Lagos State.
